Apply to join the Green Party of Canada Member Knowledge Clusters

Our Leader is committed to increasing participatory democracy within our Party. That plan is underway, and the next phase will be member recruitment for our Knowledge Clusters.

Knowledge Clusters (KCs) will be a permanent way for GPC members to contribute their expertise and experience to GPC policy development by working directly with our Shadow Cabinet Critics.

Each Critic will benefit from a satellite Knowledge Cluster to support their work, and KCs will be a member think tank for advancing GPC policy.

You can view the full list of portfolios here

Members of the Knowledge Cluster will play a vital role in policy development - from reviewing the latest research and evaluating events and legislation with the Critic, to contributing to developing positions that reflect our member-developed policies.

*The term  “equity-seeking” refers to two groups of people:

  1. Individuals who fall into the four federally-defined employment-equity groups: women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities; and
  2. Minority groups who, while not part of official equity-seeking categories, still experience heightened social and economic vulnerability due to their identities. Here, these include: LGBTQIA2S+identified, immigrant,  and low-to-middle income individuals.
