(OTTAWA) August 8, 2015 - Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Saanich-Gulf Islands), will be on Salt Spring Island, BC, tomorrow to participate in the following events:
Salt Spring Garlic and Music Festival
Ms. May will attend the first annual Salt Spring Garlic and Music Festival between 1:30 to 2:30 pm and meet with constituents.

Salt Spring Campaign Office Opening
From 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Ms. May will join supporters at the opening of the new Salt Spring Saanich–Gulf Islands Green Party campaign office. The ribbon cutting will take place at 3:30 pm.

"Rebuilding Canada After Harper"
Ms. May will join University of Lethbridge Professor Tony Hall, Salt Spring author Jan Slakov, publisher and editor of Common Ground magazine Joseph Roberts, and Jorge Lopehandia, Chilean-Canadian scholar/miner/musician, for Rebuilding Canada After Harper, an evening of music and discussion about how to work together to create the Canada we want.
