Greens pledge greater support for arts, culture, and heritage
(OTTAWA) - Green Party Leader Elizabeth May (Saanich – Gulf Islands), holds a press conference tomorrow in Victoria.
Ms. May unveils the Green Party’s plan to support Canadian arts and culture, which includes stable funding for the CBC, Radio-Canada Canada Council for the Arts, National Film Board, and Telefilm Canada.
The following Green candidates join Elizabeth May at the press conference:
• Jo-Ann Roberts, former All-Points West host and Green Party Arts, Culture, and Heritage Critic (Victoria); and
• Frances Litman, photographer, businesswomen, and author (Esquimalt – Saanich – Sooke);
