(OTTAWA)– Green Party Leader Elizabeth May (Saanich – Gulf Islands) and Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi, candidate (Cowichan—Malahat—Langford), holds a press conference this morning on Vancouver Island, Cowichan Bay.
Ms. May unveils the Green Party’s plan to defend Canada’s waterways, which includes establishing a Canada Water Fund to focus on long-term watershed health, re-investing in the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), and restoring Canada’s environmental laws.
