(OTTAWA) – The Green Party of Canada will work together with Facebook Canada to broadcast video updates by Elizabeth May, live from the Paris Climate Conference (COP21).
May will be sharing observations and developments from COP21 using Live for Facebook Mentions, sharing live video directly on her Facebook page. This live video feature was launched by Facebook in early August 2015.
Schedule permitting, May will provide regular updates from November 30 – December 11, live from Le Bourget Exhibition Centre in Paris, where the COP21 negotiations will take place.
Green Party Climate Change Critic and nationally respected meteorologist Claire Martin will also be providing live video updates via her Facebook page.
Both Elizabeth May and Claire Martin will be in attendance from November 30, until at least December 11, when the conference is scheduled to conclude, although most seasoned observers believe it is unlikely to end until Sunday, December 13.
