Advisory: Green Party of Canada Hosts Town Hall on Electoral Reform

(OTTAWA) June 14, 2016 – Daniel Green, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada, holds a town hall on Canada's voting system on Wednesday, June 15 in Gatineau, QC.

Proportional representation will be discussed, along with the challenges and issues surrounding electoral reform.

Réal Lavergne, Vice President of Fair Vote/Représentation équitable Canada and a member of the New Democracy Movement (NDM), will also participate. The objective will be to assess the present situation of proportional representation at the federal level and to get mobilized for the next stages.

Mr. Green will also address federal issues concerning Gatineau and will be available to answer questions.
