(OTTAWA) - Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands), receives the Bob Olsen Memorial Conservation Eagle Award from the Northwest Energy Coalition. Executive Director Nancy Hirsh will present NW Energy Coalition Conservation Eagle Awards to Ms. May and Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, President of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs at the Musqueam Cultural Centre in south Vancouver.
The NW Energy Coalition is an alliance of 100 environmental, civic, and human service organizations, progressive utilities, and businesses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia.
