(OTTAWA) – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands), participates in several events for the Walk for the Salish Sea, a four-day walk and fundraiser from Songhees to Tsleil-waututh territory (Victoria to Burnaby, B.C.). The Walk is in unity and solidarity with First Nations and other groups to protect global climate and the Salish Sea marine ecosystems from the threat of expanded bitumen pipelines and tanker traffic.
