OTTAWA: The Green Party of Canada today announced the appointment of Dr. Andrew Park, Associate Professor of Forest Ecology at the University of Winnipeg, as the Party’s new Environment Critic.
An accomplished academic and longtime environmentalist, Park has served on the Skeena Roundtable on Sustainable Development, the Mayor’s Environmental Committee in Winnipeg, and as a board member for the Manitoba chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS).
“I’m thrilled that Andy will be taking on our Environment file,” said Green Leader Elizabeth May “He brings a wealth of global experience to his new role with the Green Party.”
