(NANAIMO) – Elizabeth May, Green Party Leader (Saanich-Gulf Islands), and candidate Paul Manly (Nanaimo –Ladysmith), rallied with hundreds of Green supporters on the second day of the Green Island Bus Tour in Nanaimo.
“Green Party support is growing in B.C. – especially on the Island. We have won before and are about to win again,” said Ms. May.
Paul Manly, filmmaker, communications specialist, and researcher, said the Greens have momentum across Vancouver Island.
“Canadians need to get out and vote on Monday, October 19,” concluded Mr. Manly. “I encourage all residents in Nanaimo – Ladysmith to grab a friend, get out, and vote Green.”
The Green Island Bus Tour is travelling across Vancouver Island, ending Sunday afternoon at the Victoria Conference Centre.
