(OTTAWA) - Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Saanich-Gulf Islands), attends events in Montreal, QC tomorrow.
Ms. May joins Green Party of Canada Deputy Leaders Daniel Green and Bruce Hyer, and Quebec Green Party candidate JiCi Lauzon (Pierre-Boucher – Les Patriotes – Verchères) to make an announcement on Sunday morning. The press conference takes place at the Green Party of Canada Montreal Office, 3423A Notre-Dame West, at 9:30 am (EDT).
Ms. May participates in the 2015 Montréal LGBTA Parade with Quebec Green Party candidates Daniel Green (Ville-Marie—Le Sud-Ouest—Île-des-Soeurs), Jici Lauzon (Pierre-Boucher—Les Patriotes—Verchères), Cyrille Giraud (Laurier-Sainte Marie), and Georges Laraque, Green Party supporter and former NHL hockey player, on Sunday afternoon.
At 11:30 (EDT), Ms. May, Quebec candidates and supporters will meet ahead of the parade on Sunday morning at the north corner of Saint-Marc Street and René-Lévesque Boulevard.
The parade starts at 1:00 pm (EDT) at Guy Street and René-Lévesque Boulevard, travels east on René-Lévesque, and ends on Sanguinet Street and the Village.
Ms. May returns to her home riding of Saanich – Gulf Islands on Sunday night.
