(SIDNEY) – Tonight, Elizabeth May, Green Party Leader (Saanich-Gulf Islands), launched the Green Island Bus Tour in the last leg of the campaign trail before the election Monday.
Ms. May said that support for the Conservatives is dropping across the country. "Their campaign is in shambles," said Ms. May, "Liberal support is building, but neither the Liberals nor the Conservatives are playing much of a role in Vancouver Island ridings."
"Vancouver Island voters need to hear the truth - that voting Green will elect Green Champions who will work for you. Reject fear and vote Green."
The Green Island Bus Tour started in Sidney, B.C. and will travel across Vancouver Island. The tour ends Sunday afternoon at the Victoria Conference Centre.
