(OTTAWA) – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands), attends the 23rd annual Conference of the Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Germany, as a member of the Canadian government’s delegation. Ms. May attends from Nov. 13 to 19.
Ms. May will also meet with the Global Greens Parliamentarians Association, of which she is co-chair. There are currently more than 400 Green parliamentarians in approximately 25 national level parliaments around the world.
