Currently retired from the military and involved in various community activities, such as the Federal Electoral District Association for the Bay of Quinte – CEO, and with different groups trying to best address local poverty issues. Prior to this, have been involved in many aspects of civilian and military life, improving personal skills to help assess different requirements and to deliver support to people, committees, organizations and agencies, providing technical expertise to different working groups, and chairing/serving on boards in support to small and large organizations in their personnel development or occupational requirements. One notable example was in 2010 when the organizers of the World Conference on Disaster Management requested my attendance to brief the public on National Search and Rescue Capabilities (following 2010 Haiti Response & Olympic Preparations).

I feel fortunate that my passion for working with people, organizations, and serving on boards has been consistently realized through leadership positions held and opportunities I had with organizations such as Global Affairs Canada, Canada Border Services Agency, local and national Police Forces, Coast Guards, National Guards, Disaster Assistance Response Teams, Norwegian Airforce Survival School and the Aerospace Capability Team to ensure effective operations.

I have an intimate understanding of both people and process (Civilian/Military Coordination; Training Skills; Needs Assessments; Solving Complex Issues), allowing me to effectively engage decision makers best suited to act. Organized and highly motivated to achieve lasting results, I am known to be an excellent team player.
