The newest Green in Canada was born on Thursday May 29 at 4 in the morning to Marie Picken and George Read: Valerie Izabella Kalind Read. Above is the proud papa and petite.
George is the leader of the Alberta Greens and served in 2006 and 2007 as national campaign manager for the Green Party of Canada.
Valerie was born 9lbs 2 oz. Marie and Valerie are now recovering at home.
