Ville-Marie—Le Sud-Ouest—Île-des-Soeurs

Cynthia Charbonneau-Lavictoire grew up in Clarence Creek, Ontario, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University in Sudbury and currently lives in Montreal.

Cynthia is just like any other working Canadian who is worried about their financial future as the prices of goods and housing continue to rise, and wages stagnate. Pre-pandemic she was concerned with the poor health care for seniors. The pandemic only further showcased the poor state of our health care and economic system as well as inequalities that Indigenous, racialized and marginalized communities face. In addition to the ever pressing climate crisis, these are top priorities for her and what she will be working on when elected.

As your MP, Cynthia’s door will be open to discuss all matters that are important to you as she needs her constituents’ support to best represent them. She likes to keep herself informed on all matters and to look at evidence-based research prior to forming an opinion.

Cynthia enjoys being active, painting, playing with her parrots and an evening game of Dungeons & Dragons.
