Anna Gorka is an architect with over 20 years of experience in built environments, spoken languages and community leadership.
Anna became a LEED Accredited Professional early on. She honed her green building career in the United States for a number of years, working on housing and arcology design. She trained others to understand arcology — a fusion of architecture and ecology — and toured urban planning presentations to universities in four countries.
When she took a break from architecture, Anna farmed extensively. While raising children, she trains teenagers to repurpose packaging waste for science modelling, emissions reduction and budget savings.
Anna’s work embodies the hope that all Canadians will have access to healthy housing and food while maintaining a life supporting climate. She believes having an architect in Parliament will help.
