Winnipeg Centre

Andrew Klassen Brown lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his partner and their dog. He grew up in rural, south-eastern Manitoba, and was deeply shaped by the tight-knit community and its closeness to nature.

Andrew works as an archivist for a local NGO that works for relief, development, and peacebuilding internationally and in Canada. He also recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Theology, and begins work on his PhD next year.

Andrew was motivated to run for the Green Party of Canada out of a desire to work toward a more just and sustainable community, a position that grows out of his faith commitments.

While he is relatively new to the Green Party, Andrew hopes that by running he can help to inspire a new generation of young Canadians to develop a more just, sustainable, and socially-minded community in Canada, and ultimately for our planet.
