Peter Dolling has lived in the Lower Mainland almost his entire life and is passionate about strengthening the local communities. With a lifelong enthusiasm for the environment and sustainability, Peter chose environmental leadership as a career path. Peter has a professional focus on biodiversity and urban forestry in his current role as an operations manager for an environmental consultancy. Peter holds certifications with the Environmental Careers Organization of Canada and the International Society of Arboriculture.

Peter achieved a Technical Diploma in Sustainable Resource Management from BCIT in 2013 and is currently studying a part-time BSc in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University. Peter has 15 years of management and leadership experience including a Management certificate from Vancouver Community College.

Peter was raised to support his community. His parents worked with organizations that provided community support for marginalized peoples and the elderly. Building teams and tackling challenging problems with community engagement is a core tenant of Peter’s values. In 2015 Peter founded an outdoor-recreation community for those seeking a safe and encouraging entry into mountain sports.

Peter has been a GPC supporter since the 2015 federal election and decided to run due to the GPC platform that heavily aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
