“Today is an opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity in our communities. One of the Green Party's core values is Respect for Diversity. Today we respect and celebrate it.
“I am proud that Canada is known around the world as a country that welcomes people of all faiths and ethnicities. Multiculturalism embodies the values of inclusiveness and collaboration. It demonstrates that when we work together, we can build a country that encourages innovation, democracy, and strong communities.
“A Canada that works together – it’s what Canadians expect and deserve.”
